hey im a new member always looked through this forum finally decided to join since i got my evo so im both a new owner and a new member. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning about my car.

Tell up a bit about your new Evo. Pics? Plans?

 

Will post pics soon still getting used to the forums. The car was basically a stolen recovery so i needed lots of parts already got all the essentials taken care of just need to get the key programmed to get the car started. Car is bone stock other than the wheels and cf fenders which i also have the oem fenders. I also replaced the stock turbo with another bored out stock turbo with less miles hopefully gain some power from there dont know if anything else was done to the car before that so i plan to dyno it as soon as its running to check out the power its putting down. As for plans im looking to make 400-500 with my set up now + bolt ons

thought i did at first but once i got everything together and the key programmed turned out the motor was no good so been woking on sorting that out with the seller since then pretty frustrating. yes i plan to paint it back to its original color but thats not a priority to me i much rather work on getting the car on the road

 

So you need a new motor?

yea pretty much claimed to be a running car just needed to be put back together and all the parts were provided with the car except for the tail lights and sideskirts i purchased those. this is how i got the car .

Did the seller give you back some money for the engine being toast?

 

For the right price though looks like it could have been a deal. Hopefully its on the road soon!

 

thanks ill keep you in mind when i begin gathering parts and no the seller and i are still sorting things out i havent paid him the car in full anyway.
