Can you drift a evo in a corner

Someone told me one time evos are fwd until you need power to the back wheels, is that true? And is there a way to put more power to the back wheels to drift? Like a Sti? I kind of like to drift a lot

No to your first statement. If you like to drift get a 240SX with a LS1 swap, but yes you can drift an evo if you really wanted to.

i drift my evo almost every day, I believe the power is 50/50 though, and to most peoples belief the acd does not change power (correct me if im wrong). However sliding AWD is much different than RWD so if you must drive "spirited" practice in a parking lot for everyones safety.

The evo can be driven in front wheel drive only, just pull the ebrake handle up enough to turn the ebrake light on in the dash. It will turn off the ACD pump.

With a proper AutoX setup, it will drift only if its a throttle off pre-apex. It will rotate on throttle exit, but it will not tokyo drift.

Given this is for a prepared surface and not for a dirty/wet pavement situation.

If the surface is dirty/wet, you will drift but so does every RWD making 200 HP.

re drifting in an evo

Its harder to drift in and awd then an rwd vehicle. If your planning on drifting with your evo like they did in Tokyo Drift then you'll have to buy a conversion kit to make it a rwd vehicle. Thats what they did to the red evo in Tokyo Drift. This would make your evo much slower though.
