Questions on DIY

For the most part, do you guys do your own general maintenance and install? If so, were you guys already experienced with used your evo as "guinea pig"? What's the best way learned and did you guys screwed up things along the way?

if you want to work on your own car. start off with the basic stuff. there's a bunch of DYI's on this forum.

This was my first "tuner car"...i had a BMW before this that had rims. lol. So i guess my evo was my guinea pig...but I'm pretty good with DYIs and stuff so it's all based on the person i guess

many of us do our own installs as much as possible, myself included. if you wanna learn how to work on cars you need to be working on cars. reading helps, but nothing beats experience. have someone experienced help you.

I would say for the most part, many Evo owners do their own work.

I was lucky to have had a handful of cheap cars first, so screwing up wasn't a big deal. Gotta be more careful with a newer car, or something as nice as an Evo
