I am a college student looking to buy an Evo. I have around 17000 dollars to spend on the car. I'm in Florida but I'm starting to notice Evo's are really rare to find around here. I would use the car daily but for very short trips.
I would like to know the advice of Evo owners here:
Should I look for a newer EVO 9 with more miles and less modifications on or for a Evo 8 with fewer miles but with tons of mod usually on? .
Would a 9 with more than 80k miles considered a reliable car if well taken care of?

evo 8 with less miles IMO... the less miles the better man. That's just me though some people say they don't mind the mileage. And try to find something with like bolt ons and maybe cams.. nothing passed that so you know what your getting into maintenance wise
