OK. Sounds good. Keep us posted. What turbo are you looking to run?

Do not worry about the GT30 as there are enough stock frame options available to handle all of your needs.

just seems like stock frames cost as much as the gt30 and there are direct bolt on gt30. really depends on how much power the car puts down. plus im going to do mounts/ bushing first. and i want to finish my 240 before i mod the evo too much. i need to get it nice and streetable

Please show me a bolt-on GT30, my friend.

Where are you looking that you have found a complete T3 turbo set up that costs just as much as a stock frame turbo?

What do you mean by "get the EVO street-able"? The EVO suspension out of the box is pretty good and many have gotten by with a nice set of springs. That is all I had on my first EVO.

Things are different from the EVO scene as opposed to the 240 scene.

the car is lowered but im not sure what else yet. i mean like shifter bushings, motor mounts and maybe rear sway bar. yea i know that the scenes are different but it be nice to have one car without worries. i would like a quick evo but i dont want to modify too much that it makes it inconvenient to daily

My friend, you are the only person I know that would spend, rather consider, spending that much money for an EBay turbo kit. Do yourself a favor and search to see if you can find any dyno results with this turbo kit on here or any other turbo kit. For that $2,600 price tag, you can buy yourself a EF4, FP DBB Black, or CBRD BBK-B and I will bet will surely out perform the turbo you posted. Please do not cut any corners by trying to save some pennies on EBay that you risk costing you money to replace. I have a motto to "do things right the first time".

How do you plan to use the car? It is already lowered. Great. That means that you already have either springs or coil overs. Motor mounts will increase vibration so keep that in mind. If you want a quick EVO, focus on those things that increase performance such as: cams, fuel injectors, exhaust manifold, O2 housing, etc.

Great on cams. I did not read that. As for the injectors, depending on the turbo you select, larger injectors may become a necessity. As for exhaust manifold, a very good ported OEM has proven itself with testing.
