Why are Evos so much harder to find than STi's?

I think most STi owners only bought the car for the boxer rumble.

its easier to sell a sti then fix it day by day. it does not matter while you use it like race car or just to come from work to home you have to fix smth.

evos more reliable
and its a legend
noone wants to sell a legend

I noticed that too when I was looking for my Evo. I've never been in an STi but I love my Evo, it took me a year or so to find it and it was well worth the wait

I guess so, my ej207 has been brutalized for 110K miles, run low on oil to the point the idiot light came on when braking, redlined constantly, bounced off the limiter, jumped. it just keeps chugging.

Cause subaru makes like 4 models of cars. They also make plenty of them. A much smaller company. The evo is made in a vastly lower quantity as its not the car Mitsubishi is making its money off of.

Also good luck finding a good one in our area, I had to go all the way to North Carolina to get mine. Well worth it.
Btw NC is a gold mine for cars. No matter what you want you can find it here. Theres about 30 evos for sale right now in the state. Thats 8/9 **** finding x is patheticially easy. People dont realize NC has for the last 15 years in a row had the highest growth rate.

Evo's are more rare.

Evo's are totalled and land in the junk yard with alarming regularity.

Most EVO's are kept up well by the first owner or completely trashed. Little middle ground.

Lots of garage queen EVO's rusting in garages.

If this is true then that's sad. I know I'm in the minority, but a missfiring lawnmower doesn't produce a pleasing sound imo.
