New member in TX, no car yet
I started looking, researching my next toy. I just sold my 2002 Z06 after about a year and a half and 17,000 miles, fun car, loads of power, but not the right fit for me. I like the Evo, I have looked at a used one on the lot, and drove it, I liked it. But, it was "stock", and had loads of issues that I'm guessing was from being modded and not taken care of. Plus, the price was insane, and there was a line of buyers wanting to buy it.
Normally I wouldn't post here, or at all, I'd just search and read. I'd like to buy in the forum classifieds, and I'd like to ask questions in the classifieds, but there is a 15/15 rule. I would really like to sell my Jeep first, or trade it for an evo, but if the right deal comes along, well, you know.

I'm really in no hurry, but I'd like to have one as soon as possible.
I know I need to take my time, find the right one, it'll be worth it in the long run. I searched for months before I found my Jeep, and I found exactly what I wanted, at a nice price too. It's just too bad that after 2 months I'm totally bored of it, and want it gone.
But I'm hunting an 8 or 9 evo, close to stock, or around 400 whp, nothing extreme. I don't want a "look at me" car, that got really old with the Z06, no wing is a plus. Low mile car, maybe a one owner would be awesome. I don't need to finance, so I'd love to buy private party, fly in and drive home sounds like a lot of fun. And silver! Maybe white. So yeah, it's gonna take me awhile to find what I want, and I may change my mind before I find one, and just go get a new one. My wife drives a GTI, and I have a beater for work, so this will just be my toy. I'd like it to run around 115 to 120 in the quarter at around 3,000' elevation when I'm done. I'm not really a drag guy, but I'd like it about that fast.
