Advice on buying an Evo with military pay
It boils down to maturity level, current obligations, and intended use of the car. I bought my first car as an E1 back in 1996. I was not mature at all. As for intended use, if you plan not to bang up on the car and simply enjoy it, then do so, my friend.
You could definitely do it with E3 pay without a problem...you'll be making roughly $725 a check, thats if you opt to pay for your MGIB, which is $100 a month for your first year. If you're married or for some miraculous reason get to live off base you will also make BAH and BAS. The amount you get for BAH and BAS varies by the base you get stationed at, and you will always be pocketing money every month from BAH and BAS after bills, if you're smart with your money.
Well personally I believe it depends on your money management skills, as an E-3 I had 3 cars which was including my EVO VIII, EVO V and Porsche. I didn't have really to much bills at all so depends on what you already have. Yet I do know I had to budget pretty well, not waist my money on certain things to help build the cars. Also another benefit are the financial assistance that we all get in the military that'll help you do a basic layout of what you spend and receive. If going Marines you will deploy quite often, sea pay is great for Navy pending if you go on ships quite often. All in all manage your money, save, and spend wisely

Holy hell, how'd you afford that? Lol did you just buy them with no car payments? Suppose that would be easier than putting a down payment and having a bill
Every month
