Like what all the hot chicks say....Once you go black you never go back. I have a Black evo so Im Bias

 

Well out of the three Evos I've seen 2 were silver and 1 was red.

 

the only evos ive seen have been black and blue. the blue def looked great, but everybody else with me thot it was an ugly car.

 

Black is real sexy, but only when clean
Red is for speed, and to really look mean
Yellow's for those folks that need to be seen
Blue should be rolling on a mini-golf green
White is like cloud 9, driving a dream
Silver's transparent to cops' radar screens
Basically, any color Evo beats any other machine!

I think tarmac black is the best looking to me. Its also a "low key color", the less attention my car gets the better IMO. The tarmac black also looks good with any rim color you may choose.

ALOT of ppl may not know this but you can ANODIZE your intercooler black to make it hard to see from prying eyes. Make it look like a regular lancer. Another bonus from anodizing your intercooler you actually GAIN cooling effeciency!! If you dont believe me, ask the guys at www.full-race.com. how would that make it look like the regular lancer, we have a very diff front and rear bumper? the IC is not the biggest diff in looks.

 

Because black doesnt show curves that well. Whereas brighter colors do. Ever look at a model with tight black clothes on? Notice how her curves dont show as well as they do in for example, white or yellow clothes.

Hope you understand what I mean now.

 

i understand what you mean but that doesnt necessarily mean i agree when it pertains to the evo and reg lancer

 

I do the the tarmac black but overall I have to say apex silver is the best- it shows off the lines of the car and looks good day and night.

Dude, that's so stupid. THe reason why we all paid 30K is to get something different than everybody else. Why in the world would any EVO owners would want their EVO to look like a lancer?!? I'm not paying 30K to look like a lancer. If I want a lancer I would have bought one. You're crazy....what a waste of money...I rather spend that money color coat my rims. Peace..

 

While Apex Silver does look great, there does seem to be a downside. The people who are having rust issues, most, if not all, have Apex Silver cars.
