Just introducing myself. I recently bought a 2012 Evo X GSR. I come from the Mazdaspeed3 community. I liked the car, but FWD was not fun after the power level I had reached. I didn't want to keep spending money if in something I couldn't put the power down with.

My Mazda dyno'd at 322whp/370tq with the stock turbo, bolt-ons and 50/50 E85 tune:


I am very glad to be joining this community. I've been reading tons of threads, and researching things about this engine. Similar to the 2.3 DISI, but different in many ways as well.

I was getting involved in AutoX with the Mazda, and I plan to continue doing so with the Evo. Initial mod plans (after recovering from purchase $$) are intake, Test Pipe, and a mild self-tune. After that, downpipe, fuel pump, injectors and splashing some E85 for a more aggressive tune. But that will come in time.
