tryin to get myself into an evo within the next year and currently drive a 97 cobra. I looove being able to spin the tires and get sideways at will and the exhaust note is just amazing. and i get 24 mpgs on the highway. So do you former v8 owners miss being able to do those things or does the evo have different perks that are just as fun as v8's?

 

V8's are a different kind of fun to me. I dont drive them but my buddy has a 1965 302 mustang and a 95 camaro with the lt1. Both cars are over 350 horse, mostly stock and while they are fun and sound mean i love a boosted 4 cylinder. Awd is a major advantage also. Just kinda the brand of fun you are into. Ill take boost over 4 extra cylinders any day
