Hello all :)

Hello my name is George. I'm not an EVO owner but love all types of cars especially Ferrari which most of us cannot afford lol . I came today to the EVO forums to ask for help from you guys because my thread was closed by my fellow brother and sisters on nasioc. I will not go into too much detail as I have posted a thread link talking about my dilemma. So I was hoping to rally some support from our Subie rivals ( you EVO peeps our there). Please consider and I hope and pray that this thread will not get closed as well. Thanks all .

re: hello all.

I just thought that there may be some that are compassionate about my situation and would like to be helpful as I would do the same for anyone else if my situation was different. But as I have posted I prefer to have a tranny donated by someone who has connections with a junk yard. Thanks for your interest.

Never thought that I would receive such negative feedback. That's life I guess. But yes I am serious. Even $1 can help in the long run. If you were in my shoes what would you do? But like I said I would rather have a tranny and not the money. That is of course if you have junk yard connections.

Quoted off NASIOC
I am blessed with a wife that holds a very good job to support us with all the growing needs a family has.
Seriously, if your wife has a very good job, why can't she get approved for a small loan to cover your tranny needs instead of coming on a forum you've never contributed to or anything to? Friends? Family?

I feel for ya man but ....C'MON!

Because $2300 a month covers just enough for three growing kids. There are bills of course. And we cannot apply for a loan because we were foreclosed upon. We now rent a 1 bedroom basement. So you see my dilemma?

I do try to help people out when I can. I believe the more you give the more you receive back. And so far this mentality has served me well. But I tend to try and help people who need food, clothes, medical attention, and rarely with a place to stay temporarily. But I'm not sure about helping someone with their "toy" or side project.

I would say to either hold out until you get a job that will get you the money you need. Or sell the car, cut your lose, and use that money to take some of the burden off your wife. If its transportation that you need I'm sure you will find someone willing to trade you an ok running car for your WRX.

Thanks to all for your replies. But there is no way I'll ever give up my car. I've personally put in 6k or my hard earned money.
