New Evo Owner

Well, 3 weeks ago I talked my wife into letting me get the 2011 WW EvoX that I had been eyeing. I'm a Mitsubishi Power Systems Mechanical Engineer so the small employee discount helped convince the old lady. I'm a hard bargainer, but not as much as the wife and she helped me get them down pretty low on a car with SSS and the Aero Kit.

I traded my 2010 TRD Tacoma for 5k less than I paid for it and am loving my Evo. I am not new to modding or turbo'd cars. I have a '93 EJ civic with a big t3/t4 putting 335 wheel HP in a SOHC, a '74 Camaro LT with a small block bored 40 over + other mods putting out about 440bwhp. I got rid of my 2000 Civic Si thinking that I wanted a truck and after 2 years with the Taco it was time to move back to a car.

I been reading through the forums and have been fighting the mod bug since my test drive 2 weeks before I made the purchase. Current mods in the works mostly revolve around figuring out my shifter feel. Really trying to decide which short throw to go with. I just ordered a titanium 201g shift knob and am in the process of narrowing down the specific short throw I want. I've looked through all of the threads and almost pulled the trigger on the t1r, but after looking at the prices on MAPerformance I am thinking I may just drop the extra $ into the TWM. Is it really worth it over the Works/Torque Solutions? Which bushings make the most difference and do the aluminum shifter cage bushings cause a solid "clunk" noise with hard shifts? I've heard of that happening before.

Thanks for all of the knowledge being spread around making it easy for new guys to find ways to make these cars even better.
