financial help
i did get offered 20% interest somewhere today but thats still ridiculous im gonna keep looking for 14% or lower i forgot to mention i will have a co signer but the co signer does not have the best credit
Just buy it. 29% blows but if you keep the payments up for a year you can then re finiance it with a normally vastly cheaper interest rate if you're never late and especially if you double up on payments. My credit had dipped to **** for a minute when i bought my 07 eclipse and i paid 13% which was awful imho since I bought it in 09. I've got a nice 6.2% on evo which is high but not terrible.

I would not, under any circumstances, accept a loan with 29% interest rate... that is just shocking. Take your time with it, build your credit, and buy the car when you can actually afford it (without paying 2x what the car is worth in interest). I am 23 years old and I was able to get my Evo @ 2.99% interest rate. Patience is key!
As the Rolling Stones said in a song, "you can't always get what you want". You are 18 and have no credit. Plus the insurance would be crazy. No car is worth going into financial bondage for. When you want to buy a new car like an Evo, it is easy to sign your life away. However, a couple years into car payments and insurance premiums and that new car is no longer as charming as it was when you took delivery of it. I say wait a couple of years, build your credit, save some more money and then have at it.

LOL
are you forgetting about gas, maintenance, fines or un expected repairs that may occur when driving the car? or are you planning on keeping it in a garage the whole time? what im saying may look like im trashing you..but im not..this is just what im think when i see what im reading. Not only are you too young, But you dont seem to understand the responsibility and maturity its going to take to own this car. Im thinking of buying a 2009 audi a6 in a couple months and from the research im doing its not going to be any cheaper than the evo to maintain. Just think about that!

Also I have amazing credit. In one year they gave me a 5000 limit (which is pretty rare). I have always paid off my credit card every month!Last edited by AGinHD; Aug 20, 2012 at 08:28 PM.
