Test drive both. Then decide which is for you. For me, the 9 all the way. The ralliart looks just like a plain lancer and don't stand out enough for me.

I think the rally looks like the x and that's the look I like the most, the 9 is pretty sexy too! lol

Exclamation

Depends upon what your goals for the car are, and also what your daily drive involves...if you encounter a lot of traffic and don't plan to track the car than the ralliart maybe the wiser choice for u. BUT I will say you are taking a pretty big risk by buying an SST equipped car that does not carry a warranty If a 5 speed trans in the IX craps out on you, it would only cost a fraction of what the SST will cost you to repair

You have a point but the dealer I'm going threw
Has a service contract for $600 for 3yrs which comes with a power train warranty, the trans is my only worry...

Personally I live within NYC and frequently encounter heavy traffic...so not having a clutch pedal would become very convenient for me. But on the other hand the cost (if something breaks), plus the so so reliability of the SST has so far kept me away, combined w/ the fact that I do enjoy driving manual. I would get the dealer to guarantee this warranty you speak of in writing though...

Remember that there is no "best car", you simply need to find the car that's the best fit for your wants and needs

I'm gonna look into the warranty and I really like the ralliart but the Evo is also a very lucrative choice, I guess it depends on what my friend finds me...

Considering the car is in great shape...meaning clean title no accidents etc. it is a pretty good deal. Also, I would do ur best to see that the car has not been badly abused; meaning get a hold of a shop that knows evos well and have them look it over. Additionally, check for signs of previous heavy modification...all in all these cars are special but they require someone with the time and money to maintain their upkeep.

round here people do the 90K service every 60K plus throw in a gates racing belt, plus use amsoil in the engine and every 3K on the dot, I don't think about it, I just do it.
