i just got a 05 evo 8 mr and it came with a v-band 3 inch Jun bl exhaust and test pipe. (test pipe goes from 2 bolt to v-band)

i have been considering replacing that exhaust with the RRE Stealth cat back exhaust with there High Flow Cat or test pipe because my wife doesnt like the loud exhaust!
Previous owner put on the exhaust system and he had the car for about 2k miles so i would have to assume there is 2k miles on this system. looks in decent shape...

didn't know if anyone one here would have an idea what i could get for it if i decided to go that route? any info would help!

You can try throwing in a resonated mid pipe to cut down on noise.

 

Something like that would work if I got the whole cat and back. It's two bolt where the downpipe meets the test pipe, but the test pipe goes from two bolt to v band all the way back..

Just drove it from the shop after having a new turbo put in to my apt like 15 miles and my ears are still ringing lol. Fixing the exhaust is my number one priority now.

Emailed RRE still waiting for a quote for an exhaust.

 

Just ordered the RRE stealth exhaust, getting a downpipe back. Hopefully I can find a new home for the jun b.l once I get it off.
