Thumbs up Another Newbie here

Hey everyone,

My name is Gilbert and I am newbie to the EVO community. I just traded in my 2002 Subaru WRX for a 2006 Mitsubishi EVO 9. So far I am very happy with car and cant wait to start learning new things from this site on whats good for mods. This car is also my DD but will still put some work in it.. It has a lot to prove to me since my main beast is my 2000 Pontiac Trans-AM WS6 that push about a 1000 to the wheels. Well enough talking lol and again I look forward to chatting with you guys to learn ideas on what I could do to the EVO.

Here is a pic of my DD Subaru WRX that I traded in for the EVO

Here is my new DD

Let me know what you guys think. It only has 57,000 miles on it now

Welcome Gilbert! the possibilities are endless with the Evo. What is your goal as far as power? We can give you some suggestions if you give us a little more information . Also, very clean IX

To be honest I am still wondering what I want to do. I know I am going to change the wheels add coil overs,Exhaust,intake,blow-off valve and also thinking about like up pipe and down pipe.. Its going to be my DD but I do want it fast too. I also am going to replace the clutch with a better. So any info or recommendations on what you think of my list and brands would be helpful.. IDK what exhaust to go with yet but I want a nice sounding tone and I dont mind if its to loud

A lot of suggestions will solely be based on your budget. I do not own a IX so I'm not as familiar with the parts but I'm sure someone else will chime in if you give us a little estimate as far as your budget.

Well budget is not to much of a problem. Just want to make it a little faster and still have it as my DD. I am going to do the E85 fuel set up too
