Favorite Mod done to your Evo

My favorite mod done to my car would have to be my MAP down pipe with open dump. It made my evo 9 turbo sound like a beast! I cant wait to get my car tuned to see/ hear the FP Black... SO EXCITED lol

Now lets hear what everyone elses favorite mod is!

I'm in Minot as well. I drive a 2011 Octane Blue X.

To answer your question, I love how my exhaust sounds. Just a custom cat-back waiting for a MAP Performance Prototype Downpipe and Test Pipe to be thrown in to liven her up.

Also, a little suggestion... Do a search next time. there are a million threads like this in both the Evo General and the Evo X General and a few other places.

My bad i've been using this site over a year, but never actually posted anything. I love it for looking up reviews and information. Now I want to buy/sell things. So trying to fill my quota without being a post *****. Im pretty sure ive seen you roll around town. Super super clean x with carbon lips and canards. Haha everytime I see that thing i wish it was mine! Props on the car looks awesome. Mines still a work in progress, Almost done with the build trying to get an intercooler right now. Just saving some money, but if I dont get it before winter i'll throw my evo9 turbo back on and keep the stock intercooler system for now. I really want to feel the fp black!!

thanks for the tips

Ah nah man you are thinking of Matt's GTS. The one with described. He's in Japan right now. Mine has no carbon fiber on it. Shoot me a pm with your number and I'll show you it some day. I cruise around all the time too...can introduce you to anyone in town (Even Jason with his NSX and GTR ).

I'm still slowly building. I have my plan set though.

Also, posting in this forum will not count towards your post count.

oo OK ya i use to see all the cars at bdubs on wenesdays. There was a black saturn a couple evos a stil a mazda and a few others from what I saw. I'm pretty sure I've seen you. I had the balancer shaft belt snap which caused my timing belt to snap and ya went all down hill from there. So I decided to build my dream car. It has been down for over 4 months. Hopefully by the end of the month I can have it tuned. After this though I'll be done with engine mods other then a few dress up mods. It'll be all cosmetic from here.. starting with the front bumper. Ill more then likely have my winter rims on so itll be a black evo with purple rims. Dont be afraid to wave me down and we can meet up!

I feel yea on the e85 I only have one close to me in wa but I'm gonna make the switch and see how my ef3 does good luck man just remember on your duel map it's a little tuff to just switch maps untill you have emptied the tank on whatever left overs you have and be sure to keep an eye on your injectors
