anyone have a 08 evo x gsr?? HELP
Hi guys, i might be buying a 08 gsr tmrw and i just wanted to ask you guys how you like it so far?
im not even sure if it comes with the sight and sound package.
Im purchasing it at a dealership and the salesman really has no knowlege of the evo. There is a sub in the trunk, looks like the stock one, and has a aftermarket navi/head unit so im not sure what to think! lol
so any help would be appreciated!!
also if you guys can tell me how the little button on the drivers side door works? i tried pressing it once, twice...nothing happened.
i just want to see if things are all what it seems to be and if everything is 100% !!!!
tell me what you guys think: evo x GSR 2008 with 38K miles, for $24,000. Car is completely stock except for the head unit and some exterior mods (black hood and trunk, front lip, side skirts)

From the way it looks this car was put back to stock, i say stay away look for a different car.
Owner of this car definitely was a Ricer, don't need to say much about the abuse.

It must have the fast key. I am assuming u didn't have to insert a physical key to start the car. The little black button are on both front doors. If u walk close to the doors and pull the handle the doors automatically open.
yeah it has a lot of work done to the outside, looks nice but is probably turned back to stock. its sss model i mean for the price you really cant beat it. the head unit alone is $400. good luck man.

yea thats what i was thinking too, but honestly i looked at acouple of evos before this one, and this seems to be the cleanest out of all, as in like other evos have like zipties holding things up in place lol

also, i took it for a test drive and the car seemed like it was backfiring like around 4500 rpms
its in the shop and being fixed right now, its been a couple of days and "they still havnt gotten the part they need"
its a lot of money so i dont know if i should jump into this!
car does come with a 90 day warranty so i guess thats good.
considering the issue, (which will be fixed), the mileage, extras, and the whole brought back to stock aspect...what do you guys think about the price? $24,000.
