I would be interested in finding out how much you would let the motor go for if you do decide to part out the car. I'm interested in having a good unmodded 2.0L longblock laying around for when mine grenades.

I am real sorry for your car, it really sucks when you obviously put alot of time and effort into it. Anything is fixable though, and I have seen alot worse get fixed. The rear quarters can be ordered and a good shop can repair it. The frame can be straightened.

If you do decide to sell I would be interested in the complete long block and harness with ecu. Just think about repairing it though. Ask some really good shops first.

I don't know if the bar would have helped much in this case. It's a big hit. Good luck on your next move!

That's a great deal. When my first one got totalled, they told me I could buy it back for ~$12,000 with an appraised value of $25,500. I asked the appraiser who they could expect to pay that much for a totalled car. "This is the minimum the auction house expects for this car." The guy was a bit of an *******.

Sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking looking at that picture - especially because I have a GG MR. Anyways, you would probably make the most money parting everything out. That interior is very clean and obviously well taken care of. Good luck with whatever you decide and I hope everyone was ok!

Did the insurance adjuster have anything to say about that?

Whoa they paided off 25k and still let u keep the car?
Thats not bad, here in IL the car HAS to be 9 years old in order for us to keep a car the insurance company has deemed total loss, which means we cant even buy it back at all.

Sorry about the loss. Would be interested in the ACD pump. How many miles did you have on the car? Car was so clean...

It would of done absolutely nothing. It WAS not intended to reduce damage in a severe hit. It's intention is to spread the impact to both sides of the support attachment in a low speed impact.

Don

Very sorry to see this. Looks like you took very good care of it.
