Hey guys. My name is Ethan, I live in Ohio, and I've been a member of the site since last April when I first started to get the urge to get into an Evo. After hearing countless stories from a friend of mine who used to own the first Evo in Ohio, I couldn't stay away.

I made the switch from my mildly modded 2006 Eclipse GT in November when I picked up the Evo. Who else calls their car "the Evo" or "my Evo"? I noticed even my girlfriend does it now lol. Anyways, it took me awhile to find the right car. I also had to get my 4G sold. Eventually the Eclipse was parted out and sold to a local mechanic. That's when I began my Evo hunt. I checked the forums probably five or six times a day until a WW Evo finally popped up in Ohio. My dad and I made the three hour drive north. Long story short, it wasn't in the best condition and the seller refused to work with us at all in terms of the title transfer/credit union payment. I was bummed but got back on the hunt. The same week I found another WW, but this time in Indiana. We contacted the owner and headed there on the weekend, determined to bring it back with us. First impression when we got there: hella clean. It was so much cleaner than the one we had seen the week before. We test drove it around town, even took it down some back roads. It ran very well. The owner of the car was one of the coolest, most down to earth guys I've ever met. He took such good care of the car. It was amazing. We drove it home the same day, without any of the issues we had last time since his wife actually worked at a credit union. Within an hour of driving, I had already received my first thumbs up. It put the biggest smile on my face. I was cheesin hard. My girlfriend thought there was something wrong with me. When we got home the car had 74330 miles. I look forward to getting to know everyone in the Evo game.

Thanks, I miss the curves of the Eclipse sometime. But then I remember the lack aftermarket and I don't miss it anymore.

HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit. Anyone running a grounding kit notice a difference in the way their car runs? I got the kit for a great price, so even if it doesn't help at all - it still looks hella cool.
