Hi Everyone, wanted to introduce myself to the community. I have been a fan of EVOs since 1999 when I watched Legend of Speed which is a movie from Hong Kong and it introduced me to the EVO vs the STI. I was HOOKED EVER SINCE!

I was never able to afford a new one, my favorite would be the 05-06 EVO 6speed MR but I can't seem to find a decent one to buy around Boston, MA. They all have transmission issues.

So for my bday a week or so ago I went to a nearby Mitsubishi dealership and MADE MY DREAM COME TRUE! I purchased my DREAM CAR. (I do currently own a Mazda Speed6 which I hand down to my GF, in the past I owned Preludes, Integra, RSX, 350Z, which is incomparable to the EVO)

The dealer in MA contacted a dealership in NY to get me what I wanted. They are shipping me a new 2013 GSR 6 Speed White from New York Fully Loaded. It will only have about 10 miles when I pick it up next week.

I am ECSTATIC TO BE AN OFFICIAL EVO DRIVER/OWNER.

Welcome. Just a heads up, they dont make the GSR's in a 6 speed. I wish they did though

 

I know I wish they did thats why I wanted the 2005-2006 MR Manual 6 speed originally but cant complain I am happy & grateful w my 2013 5 speed GSR, i just couldnt go 2013 MR 6speed Automatic, I just cant!

I felt the same way. I traded in my 2012 GSR for a 2013. I was thinking of getting the MR, but just couldnt do it.

Did you get any packages with your GSR?

 

Hi Yes Got the whole package. Leather heated seats, gps, in & exterior led lights, the lip kit. You got the drift. Pics to come when i finally have it, im anxious!

 

Sweet. Congrats. I also got the illumination package on mine and really like it. I didnt get the Nav and lip though. Good package choices. Pics!!!
