Recirculate Tial Bov?

Can you recirculate a Tial QR BOV that has been welded in the place of the stock UICP/BOV for an Evo 8?

I just bought my QR, I'm gonna cut a piece of thin aluminum a few inches long and clamp it to both the stock intake pipe and recirc tube. I get what you're saying because the stock bov sits right in the intake pipe and the Tial does not. That's the solution.
