well my plan of now is tear down and rebuild from the bottom up, i found out recent that my transmission needs to be completely rebuilt (thank you previous owner) and i do indeed have a knock just what i was afraid of, so im not sure how far i will go with it yet. I'm going to aim high though. a lot of reading i will need to do with in the next couple of days to figure my plan of action. :/ thank goodness for evom

First of all congrats on purchasing a RS. If you have the issues as stated above then I would advise not driving the Evo. Its possible to do damage to other parts of the powertrain.

Owning a RS is difficult but once you learn more about how this Evo reacts differently versus other Evos then its the best.
