I've used Evom for technical info for a long time now, and I've finally joined up

I'm from Canberra, Australia and have an Evo 6RS track car, and a red Makinen.

The RS is a work in progress, currently getting wider with a 2.4LR and the Makinen is stock and its intended to stay that way!





Just spent a month on the West coast of America and had a great time- loved it! Didnt see many evo's though! Looking forward to trawling through the wealth of info in here.

^I did. Spent 95% of my time there. Beautiful part of the country, can't wait to get back there

 

Australia is beautiful to and not populated at all. Just the state of California has more people than Australia. I'm surprised you didn't see any evos in Ca. Driving in Southern California I see them all the time, with the exception of my 9 of course.What part of Ca. Did you visit?

 

L.A to San Diego, then up to vegas and then to San Francisco and back to L.A

You've got some awesome roads! I did the best to enjoy them in the Camaro rental I think I saw 2 Evo X's and one nice white 9 in San Diego.

 

Nice tme. I dont see many evo's over here. Hows the mod laws in Canberra?

 

Thanks. It's pretty relaxed here. So long as you have an engineer certificate proving that the mods don't pose a danger to the operation of the car, and you pass an emissions check its fine. A while back it wasn't very easy to have a modified car- but nowadays you have to go looking for trouble to get questioned about mods.
