would you buy this EVO 9? help

http://www.myhighlineauto.com/2006-M...4/Details.aspx

All I know is it has had a recall for an ECU reflash (???)

A little background of me, I'm new in Denver (from California) and drive a 2007 G35 coupe. Nothing wrong with my car but in Denver I either need a winter beater or an AWD car. Iv'e always wanted an EVO 9 and came across this one with 21k miles just wanted some opinions, anything you guys can point out would be greatly appreciated. Since these cars respond great to mods unlike my car my goals are a low 2 mid 12 second car, what would be the AWHP I would need for that?

It more comes down to the driver imo, more AWHP always help tho.
Dunno about your experiance at the drag but assuming you know your way around it I would guess that BPU mod's and the right condition (weather, tires, altitude, temperature, tune, weight (fuel, driver) etc) is enough.

Qualified guess: A few bolton so around 350-400 AWHP

I've seen many IX's running low 12's with a few bolton's, Note that I've also seen many IX's running low 13's with +500 BHP, so it does come down to the driver
