Hello! I'd like to start with the history of my 03 Evo. I picked her up about 7 months ago now, bone stock except for the EvoX GSR wheels. When I got her I was so giddy I didn't know what to do with myself so i started slow by just driving it. Coming from a 2002 z06 and a 99 yamaha R6 it didn't feel very perky but I knew what it was capable of! I believe in trying something new and learn it as much as I can, I had the z06 for 6 years and the R6 for a few as well and I plan to keep the Evo for a very long time. I joined a local Evo group on facebook and attended some meet and saw some insane cars and gave me the courage to start dumping money into mine. Although some of the local powerful Evos are nice, boost comes in too late and too wild, great for freeway warriors but I needed something more responsive for autocross so my current setup consists of a 9 turbo, 9 DV, HKS 272 cams, wally 255, MAP o2+Downpipe, no name resonated test pipe, Works Exhale, ebay silicone intake with OMG filter, Buscher FMIC, Buscher lower, Stock upper. Baseline(buddy) tuned to 300ish with more wiggle room. 1000cc injectors and e85 soon on the way. Full boost is acheived around 2900-3000 and feels amazing, any advice or constructive criticism is appreciated. Suspension I have KW clubsports which i got really lucky with as a gem like this would rarely pop up on craigslist, and on that note everything I bought except for the injectors and the wally are used. e85 tune scheduled for July 31st and Aug 30th will be my very first trackday, this car brought me back in the car culture, thanks Evo!
