Engine Swap

I was wondering if it was posible and if so what engines would work for an engine swap in a 2000-2003 lancer? I have a 04 ralliart but am getting rid of it and going to get a 2000-2003 Lancer ES. I was hoping a JDM GS-T engine would work or something else DOHC.

My apologies if this has been discussed prior, I couldn't find a forum on it.

use the search button, is my first piece of advice. second, your **** out of luck. the only engine that is proven to be a direct swap, is an austailian mitsubishi engine. and good luck getting a hold of one.

Awesome. Another engine swap thread.

Please run a search next time.

There's no such thing as a JDM GS-T.

DSM motors are oriented incorrectly unless you're dying to do a whole lot of unecessary work.

Moving to the newbie forum.
