Hey guys, I just purchased a 2003 Evo 8 last friday. I got a good deal on it that I couldn't pass up on. I paid 9k with 85k miles and it's wicked white. As soon as I take some pictures I'll post them up.

Anything wrong with it? For that price and mileage, I would assume there was something wrong or needing overhauling..such as motor, tranny or transfer case...Cosmetic issues?

Thanks man! It needs a paint job. Paint isn't horrible just a little faded and the usual carbon fiber fading from the rear spoiler. Long story short, the first owner put ebay parts on and jerry rigged a lot of stuff, and the car ran like ****. The second owner had it for a year and replaced all the ebay parts and junk parts with good quality name brand parts. He told me he put about $5k into the car and only had it for a year. He had to sell it because he just had a daughter born and had to pay for child care next month.
