New to this forum

What's up everyone! New to this specific forum (on evoxforums) but heard that it has the most people and most information! Created my account a while ago to get ahold of Peter with evoXpods to get my tripple gauge pillar (amazing quality by the way 100% recomend).

Thought I would introduce myself and share a few things; my name is Page I am nearly 20 years old, I recently just had my son, and I currently own a 2008 evo X GSR SSS.

On the other forum sight they have some introductory threads they recomended every new person to the forum to read- was wondering if you had any threads like this and could post the link for me to read up! Thanks!

Welcome Page!

Quick question, how do you like the Megan Springs? Almost bought a pair but went with Eibach instead. Would love to know your opinion on them.

Not sure where the intoductory post is, sorry!

They aren't bad! Love the lowering it did for the car! They are a little stiff, but overall a great spring! If I had to do it over again (with the exception of coilovers) I would probably hit up the swift specs! They seem to be the best spring out there from what I hear!

Haha yes we have!! I still haven't put my pillar on due to my build being delayed even farther than expected

But I still plan on sending my old pillar back to you when I get the new one in the car!

No not yet :/ unfortunately I am extremely torn on what I want to do!

I have a unique opertunity to buy a complete built engine in a trade to get his back to stock. The only issues is it is taking a while to remachine the sleeves and I am starting to worry if it is going to work or not. The sleeves were pressed in last week but had to be sent back and machine a little smaller as they were too tall. Now we are wondering if they will fit and not move at all when final machining is done.

Waiting wouldn't be that bad of an issue for me but my clutch started slipping pretty badly here two weeks ago and I need it replaced asap as it is my daily driver.

So at this point I look at it as two options;
1- I wait around and gimp my clutch as much as I can and see if the sleeves work and do the trade, tune it out and throw down mad hp! (over 700 on race gas)

2- I say screw it and go my own route- costing me three times the money to do it myself step by step and feeling the power as I go and just proceed to do my gauges, clutch, CMC, flywheel, transmission upgrade, and test pipe right now

I hate decisions
