Dog

I'm planning an upcoming trip and was going to bring my pup (pit/terrier mix) any suggestions on keeping him comfortable, and my car from getting destroyed?primarily window area and passenger door.Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,KP.

Use a blue tarp to cover your seats. Maybe put booties on your dog's paws to stop him from scratching the door panels, center console, etc

^^^ A blue tarp would be so uncomfortable for a dog lol.

Just use an old bed sheet or blanket and tuck it around the seats. That will protect it from a rip and also minimize the hair shedding. Maybe even attach a sheet to the door panel to prevent scratching. That is what I do when I bring my dogs somewhere.

And there is no way around keeping the windows clean...they will rub their wet noses allll over them lol.

I agree on the blanket for comfort, but you should buy a painters tarp to put underneath it to prevent any liquids from making it to the seat. I bought a bag of three painters tarps for a few bucks from walmart.... at that price just throw it out after the trip.

Ebay and Petsmart have great front and back seat covers that are not too expensive($25-40). I would also bring a box of wipes, they come n handy. Have a safe trip

As others stated cover your back seats with a sheet or towels.
Cover them really good..and dont forget to cover your carpet as well.

dog hair will be a pain to remove if any area is exposed.
