140k evo I just bought.

Just picked up an 03 evo with almost 140k. Surprisingly for the miles it's got, car is really clean and only had two owners. Currently dropping the motor and redoing it with all upgraded internals. Looking to keep the car for daily and occasional track days. What do you guys suggest I focus on replacing or attending to with an evo that has high miles like this one. I'm new to the evo world, so could use all the help I need. Thanks.

Congrats and welcome to the forums

It sounds like your motor will be fresh with the rebuild, how did the trans and clutch feel?

Is send out the tcase and tranny for a basic refresh. If there's no damage a refresh will be less than 2k.

Also you'll want to change all of your bushings.

Depending on your budget you can do the full whiteline kit or get an energy suspension kit and get some whiteline component for the rest of the car.

Don't fix it if it isn't broken. Mine is at 156k miles and going very strong (stock turbo power level).
