New to the Forum Evo/G37/Genesis
Of course I'm partial to my evo because I live in the high desert and we do get snow and the ski basin is 20 min from my hpuse and even on summer tires my evo trundles through snow like its not there. However depending what kind of mod work your looking to do they swapped the motor around in the evo x but I still like how they look and all evos respond well to modifications.
My biggest issue with the g is its a heavy car.... regardless that it has decent power it is a totally different car from the evo, its slower, just hands down there's no other way to put it. So unless you actually want a rwd 2 door car I don't necessarily see the poibt in the g. Regardless that it will be reliable because nissan and ibfiniti are. I LOVE how the new genesis coupes look and I'm infinitly glad that hyundai improved on them and their relaibility has increased dramatically. However yet again its a rwd sports car for a place where you get snow isn't ideally practical. They have great brakes(if you get the brembos) and they have some ***** but my biggest factor is the rwd which is great for 3 out of 4 seasons.
Infiniti would be a no go for me and I like the new gen coupe a lot 2.0 or 3.8 either eay but I would still pick the evo becayse its fast, awd and it will hold its value much much much better then either of the other 2

The SS is the sight and sound package. It has the hid head lights, keyless entry/start, and Rockford Fosgate stereo system. The SL is the sun and leather package. It gets the leather seats, sunroof, those cubby containers in front of the shift knob, and additional sound dampening.
Full disclosure, within the last month I purchased a IX MR.
I went through the same process, just with different cars. For me what it came down to was the driving experience. I drove all three and just felt better in the Evo. Have you driven all 3 within a weekend? I promise you if you drive all three close together your mind will be made up.
Also, listen to your gut. For me I also ask myself (If I was driving car x, would I turn my head if I saw someone driving car z?). This helps me realize what I really want. It's easy to get caught up in the pros/cons of each.
Do your research, actually drive the cars if you haven't already, pull the trigger and then enjoy it.
Good luck.

In my honest opinion, the Evo is going to be your best bang for the buck. AWD turbo plenty of room to grow. The other two are nice but definitely not the same car as an Evo. Why dont you drive all of them and weigh your options. Then again, the Evo is not for everyone. If you are worried about gas mileage, The Evo isnt the car for you. But if you want a superb all around performer, go for the evo.

I've owned it for a month now and it took a few months to find the right one. So far, I absolutely love it and I made the right decision. It's everything I've wanted in a car and there is always a smile on my face when I drive it. Not to mention, the community is great.
Granted, if I was driving 20K miles a year, frankly I would have gone with the new WRX. The warranty would be important to me.

I just purchased my 13 evo x gsr. I had a 350z that i put about 4k$ into and barely got it to 290rwhp. I could take a stock g37 all day due to their weight. A friend bought my Z. We ran th X and the Z to see how much slower the X was. From a dig and at a 20mph roll I had him till 80mph. Not bad for a stock X. If I had 3k in bolt ons and tune with the X I believe the X would produce around 360+awhp. I've had the X and haven't looked back.
FROM WHAT I READ ON THE FORUMS YOUR BEST BET IS LOOKING FOR A STOCK EVO

I have been looking around as much as possible but havent really found too many common denominators. What are the first bolt ons that you guys suggest? With the GTX there was a process and an order to modding....Is it the same for the evo?
I merged your two threads. Trying to keep up with two can be confusing for you and the members. Plus, we ask members not to start the same thread in different locations (cross post). Please read the FAQs concerning the requirements to access the classifieds. Pics not loading has nothing to do with Marketplace access. What device and browser are you using? Thanks.
