May I be a part of the club now?
Bumpage. Really enjoying lurking around these forums since I bought my Evo on 2/9. Learned a lot already just skimming through stickies and new posts, and [most of] the community seems to be legit!
So, I hit 1000 miles yesterday. She feels well broken in already in a lot of ways, although I've yet had the time or physical space to safely do any real wide open pulls. Also seems like a good milestone to go ahead and change the oil for the first time. Feel like I will probably just stick with the Mobil 1... or should I go Amsoil instead?
RA mud flaps also arrived today which will be my first exterior mod, and from what I've read an important one if I want to preserve my paint job. Should have bought them the day I got the car with the effing winter weather we've had recently. However, putting on winter rubbers was the first and priority change I made in the form of Michelin X-Ice Xi3 XL's. Since then we've had 2 snow storms with 8" and 15" depths, respectively, in the last few weeks... and holy **** ***** what a beast the Evo is in the snow! This is the first true sports car, and first AWD, that I've ever owned and now I know what I've been missing in my life!
On a side note I'm also looking for a set of BBS wheels (the ones that come stock on the MR) on which I can remount the stock Yokos for when t gets warm again. Found a few sellers out there and waiting for the right deal to come along.
Anything else important I should do or check at 1k miles, or should have done already? Do I need to worry about fuel pump relays and zip-tie-ing hoses in a 2014 model or anything of that nature?
More pics since I know you guys dig that **** here: http://imgur.com/a/76pGS#0
Lastly, looks like I'm only 30 minutes away more Moore Automotive here in VA and seems like they are the real deal. Thinking of stopping by there sometime soon and introducing myself and checking those guys out.

Maybe also get a dream job (or start a dream company) so it doesn't go downhill?
