A bit about myself and my new 2014 GSR!
Hey all!
So I've been on the page for a while but I was more of a lurker trying to learn as much about the 4B11T and 4B12 I could. I had a 2010 Lancer GTS (Vicky) and when I bought her she was stupid slow. I couldn't handle it and I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on bolt ons to be barely breaking 200hp so I decided to boost her. That was a great project that taught me a ton about mitsu engines and helped me feel comfortable working on my own vehicles. Building the kit, installing it and then a tune took about a year all in all but the results exceeded my expectations. She made 270whp and 293wtq. That was a huge jump from the stock 155ish whp.

But the opportunity arose for me to own the car pretty much every mitsufan dreams of owning. It was sad to have to get rid of my baby that I put so much blood, sweat, and tears into but on to bigger and better things. A couple weeks ago my wife and I purchased a 2014 Evolution GSR. It was hard to leave my Lancer but as soon as I drove Sasha (the wife named this one) :/ All feelings of remorse were left at the dealership!
I absolutely love my Evo!

Driving her is a blast but i couldn't take how quiet she was and the fact that out the box she was slower than my Lancer so like any reasonable Evo owner would do I started the mods.
I purchased an AMS test pipe and catback and installed them as well as Rallyarmor mud flaps.

My buddy is letting me use his Cobb AP because the guy that was going to tune her is going to TX2K this weekend. This completely opened the car up! It's amazing how such small mods can make such a huge difference! But then I got the bug again a few days later...I also purcahsed ETS UICP, SRI and a Grimspeed 3 Port so after TX2K she'll be sitting pretty with some decent power. I can't wait to see where this car ends up but I'm Looking forward to meeting all of you and thanks for reading!!!

I appreciate it! I was looking for black or white but once I saw the silver in person it looks great! I love the color! My lancer was such a sleeper. There are times when I definitely miss it but at the end of the day I have an Evo now so I can't be too upset. Haha @Dr. G are you on the San Antonio Evos FB page? I hit up Matt so I can get one of those great TFP tunes after TX2K. I'm hoping to be around the same area powerwise.

Bro that comsic blue is such a dope color! I want to pick up some 265s or 275s then drop her. The OEM 245s look super small in the wheel well!
It really was! Even my wife could feel the difference in power but when i came down to all around driving experience just driving off the lot I could feel why the Evo was way more than my Lancer. Totally worth it!!!
