Hello everyone

I just got my first evo a couple of months ago (will upload pics when I get to my other pc). It's a salvage title - bought it on auction, it was hit in the rear driver side. So far I have replaced the rear knuckle assembly, shock absorber, and one swing arm, which straightened out the tire - hopefully now all I have to do is get it aligned.

My priority switched over to completing the registration, I had the stop and light and DMV inspection done already. The only thing stopping me is passing the smog.

I ran into this forum while browsing Google for some help on passing the smog test here in San Diego, California. It turned out to be a great resource of highly valuable information. As soon as I can get my hands on a stock catalytic for the 03 evo, I'll have that sorted out and hopefully will be able to get my plates to start driving it around.

So far, I've come to realize this is a great forum to get help and to buy some parts that I may need in the future for my car.

Not really as active due to school and work, but I'll check in every now and then

Welcome and thanks for checking in! Please contribute when you can and some time in the future, if you have time , consider writing a short build story. Many members would like to read about an Evo build from salvage title back to the street.
