After owning several E36 M3s, a E36 M3 race car, a Mercedes C230, a 996 911 Race Car and a Toyota Tacoma I wanted to try something completely different.

I was considering an E46 M3, an E90 335i or an EVO 8/9/10.

I really wanted 4 doors, a LSD, manual and coilovers.

E46 M3 was out, and finding a 335i with a manual and LSD swapped in for a reasonable price was hard to find. I hated the EVO X taillights, even though they were more reasonably priced than an EVO IX.

I found a tastefully modded EVO IX with all service records that was dialed in so I had a PPI done and everything was good. The only downside was the paint was quite neglected.

looks good I came from the bmw world too. Still love the e36m though thing is a classic

 

Congrats on owning the best US Evo ever made. You should remove the "Lancer Evolution" badges -- I did that to both I've owned, and personally I think it's a much cleaner look.
