evo 7 new member
Hi guys im new to this forum, Im very proud to have a new family member (blue Evo 7 gsr) 70.000 kms, and i have done this so far, change oil(liqui moly syntethic) and filter, ceratec, fuel filter, sparks plugs, timming belt and water pump, put a tein susp with a electronic cockpit module, semi slick potenza tires, clutch masters system, 3 inch complete rsr exhaust line, stop tech brakes.
The car was from japan so i had to change the steering wheel because here we drive like in the states, my plan is to do a remap, take away the damn 180 kms speed limit, change the fuel pump for the walbro 255, and i dont know if i need a diverter, to get it to stage 1 or 2 depending on how much is it, i read a lot but im still a bit confused on the stages becuause i find mixed info on the net and when i get used i will upgrade to the evo 9 turbo, i race on local time attack and track days events and i want to put the evo on the track, and retire my track day car.
My concern is that i have this ECU(MR560648) and a friend told me that some ECUs are able to tune and some dont on a DIY, maybe needs a piggyback or something i looked up but i was not able to find that info.
Any help or advice is more than welcome, cheers
