Conflicted between Evo IIX vs X

I'm planning on buying evo in a month and I'm really confused right now.

Should I buy this bad ***? and Does $24k sound alright to you guys?
He says it's got 470 whp.

Or Should I buy stock Evo X GSR for similar / slightly higher price?

My ultimate goal is to reach 800+hp and both IIX and X "CAN" do the job in terms of horse power. But of course, money is always the talker you know I'm not filthy rich. Any thoughts on why I should pick which?

LOLLOLLOL I think he does not understand Roman Numerals. If you are interested in performance, I would stick with an VIII or a IX. They are much cheaper to modify and have more potential.

If the Evo 8's build is done right, then you would have an awesome start toward your goal. I would say that you would be definitely spending a lot more money going the Evo X route. IMHO the 8's look better.

I had a X, shortly I'll have a IX. You want smooth easy highway cruising and cheapER mod cost? Evo X. Power/track monster? IX. The IX handles SO much lighter, feels much more nimble than the heavy *** X.

When I was in middle school, this guy stole my binder and wrote "Boyz III men" on it.

That 2005 EVO8 is worth at best 18K. Doesnt matter what mods were done, as it does not add value

personally im against buying a "built" evo. because if u notice, most who builds their evo with all this money instantly goes in the marketplace. and stock ones are always selling for more and faster.
u honestly dont know who built it and how good of a build it was. theres a bunch of 600+ whp built evos for sale here where i live for 14k ... ya so the price u posted is rather high for such a vague build description. these built evo's been for sale for months too.

ps... wut the heck is IIX??? lol

Ive had all 3 Evos (8,9 and 10). My advice is to buy a ragged out Evo for cheap as you can to get a low payment. I purchased my 8 for around 12500 or so and sold parts off of it making almost 4K. So I paid 8500 out of my pocket. My payment is like $213 a month which left room to build the motor and tranny. I now have a fully built 800whp Evo with less then 1500miles on the engine. When I purchased my IX new I had a $500 a month payment and my X was almost $650 a month. Not much room for parts. So if you plan on building it then buy it cheap most builds engine and tranny will reach 10-15K easily so keep that in mind.
