Hello everyone!! My name is Jay and I live in San Diego. I have a 2014 Evo X GSR. I have always loved Evo's ever since the Evo 7. I just recently put in a K&N Typhoon CAI so I'm super excited. I'm hoping to learn all about this awesome family of cars and eventually get my Evo tuned up nicely.

one of the best mods for the dollar is E85, if you have it available in your area strongly consider it once you are ready for more power!

I am also in SD...where are you planning on getting tuned? I would definitely recommend it as you add more mods. BTW E85 is pretty prevalent and with a few power mods you can make pretty decent power on the X.

Yea I've been told to see a guy called Dr. Boost for my tune. Once I get a turbo back I want I'll start looking into a tune.

I would do a little research before you get tuned as there are quite a few shops in LA and San Diego as well. I have a buddy with a X who is about to get tuned at 5150. They do great work and Jon is one of the best tuners around. Just my .02

I've heard of this 5150. All I know is they seem to be based somewhere in northern Cali. I've heard they do good work but I haven't done any research on them yet.
