New Evo IX owner

Hello,

Ive been a member for a long time and occasionally lurk on the forums. I picked up a fairly stock evo IX MR today and am looking forward to getting tuned and possibly going to e85.

I come from a subaru background, my previous two cars are an 07 sti on e85 and an 06 FXT. I am looking forward to experiencing the much fabeled 4G63T as I am sick of dealing with the pita subie EJ series. Although I never cracked a ringland.

Hi!

Welcome and thank you for posting your intro! Your car looks great and good luck with it, I'm sure you will enjoy the lower cost (relative to others) to modify your car! Have fun!

Hello and welcome on board! Thanks for joining us. Congrats on your Evo, it looks great! May it provide unlimited fun and unhampered travel across all terrains for as long as you two are together. Do you have any particular mods in mind yet?

It came with a TBE an a 91 tune from Cali. I took it to Johnson Tuning and got the tune updated to 93 for a gain of ~20hp.

I would like to make it into a comfortable driver as well as part time autox/track car. I loooove the stock suspension ride, so I hope to leave the spring and struts and just do bars and get some camber in the front. I havn't done my research yet but I am hoping that I can get decent camber in the front with camber bolts only.

In the power dept I might go the e85 route with a 4 bar map sensor, intake, fuelpump, 1000cc injectors and an FMIC
