New VIII Owner - From the UK

Hello

Just joined up from the MLR, I have had my Viii since October 2014.

I live in the UK, Kent and found your forum through the How to guides!

My evo is pretty standard at the minute, it's an RS so I have a few parts ready to put on. I now own a garage so I can finally get things sorted in the dry!

I have to fit:

Tein Springs
Full Brembo set up
3 Port Solenoid
APS induction (Already on )
HKS Cams

Then i'll be hunting for seats and harness and then she will be wrapped!

Anyway, hello

Oh, I am also looking for a HKS 272 Exhaust cam if anyone can help and ship to the uk

A few pics:

just to translate for the Americaannn viewers, a man and his garage is a big deal in the UK, a UK gent is a very proud man if he owns a garage, most are detached from the house, they can even be blocks away, to walk in the rain is all part of the english life style. Having an Evo in the UK is like being a legend in your suburb

I remember staying with an old couple in Acton many years ago, the old bloke asked me if I wanted to go see his 1.3 cortina which he was so proud of, I thought it was weird when we had to walk 3 blocks to his garage which was part of a group of garages, he was a very proud man with that cortina and took me for a drive to the fish and chip shop and grabbed a couple of cans of newcastle brown on the way, it was cute

Sounds like a good time! I do love a cortina! Classic Fords are amazing.

Surprised there was no pork pie involved!

Luckily my garage is attached to my house no walking for me! I'm living the life now. Eating my pork pies off real plates and drinking my tea from mugs

Now I am off to tip my top hat and get my shoes shined! Good day old chaps.

Wow that is one clean 8.. Was the rear wing optional for the RS in the UK? I know you guys are lucky and get some crazy goodies over there.. (focus RS, fq400, Jensen interceptor, etc..) Good luck!
