EVO VIII Vs IX MR?
Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I'm considering purchasing one of the 2 aforementioned models. Does either have a distinct advantage or not?
I'm looking to use this vehicle for both a track day car and a daily driver.

9>8, largely due to MIVEC. If price is no object get a 9. If you are on a budget put the $ you save by going with an 8 into engine/turbo/consumables.
You should also consider the X. Its probably a better choice for double duty and used ones can be found for less than a good condition 9.
