New Evo owner

Hey everyone, I recently bought a 2005 Evo VIII MR. I am already looking for some parts and am excited about the process ahead to get the car where I want it to be!

here are a couple pictures..I am looking to get a stock hood and trunk , the carbon fiber doesn't hold up well in new england. As for the internals I haven't made up my mind yet..it will take a little time before I start that. I look forward to trading parts and meeting some more people that love their evo's!

Excellent! Congratulations on your evo sir.

To freshen her up, you can start by changing Motor oil, transmission oil, transfer case oil, rear diff oil, balance shaft belt, timing belt, accessory belt and spark plugs. Unless of course you know the history of the car .

Generally,

Biggest bang for your buck power mods are: lower intercooler pipe, turbo back exhaust, boost control solenoid or manual boost controller, and a dynotune.

Biggest bang for your buck handling mods are: Bilstein strut w/ swift spring combo, tre max lock 1.5 way rear diff, whiteline roll center adjusters.

Just by doing that you will have yourself a very fun and great handling evo.

Happy Modding

Do you know the common thing between your first Love and your first Car? You will forget neither. Congratulations for your new Ride.
