New to the EVO

Just bought my first evo 3 weeks ago (coming from a fully built boosted honda crx running 10.6 in the quarter) anyways, already did a lot of building on it and was just wondering what your thoughts are on a stock block with gsc s2 cams, gsc beehive, fp black turbo, fb exhaust manifold, stock valves, arp head studs, full 3 inch exhaust aem 320 pump, speed density, race core intercooler, 1000cc injectors. I have it tuned to 470 at 32lbs on 93 octane. My dyno guy says it is safe, but I am not to sure about that... Just wondering what your thoughts are on my set up, and if there is anything I should fix prior to beating it on the streets and the track more. My best time in the 1/4 with it was a 11.75 at 123.61mph (only did 3 runs that night) Thanks in advance

Do you trust your tuner?

Is your trans built?

Clutch?

Trans is going in for a full rebuild coming up here within the next week or 2. right now it has the act street/race clutch. but I was thinking of putting in an exedy twin disk and I am not sure I trust any tuner on my evo yet. I had a honda Tuner that I use to go to, but that was his specialty and he only has a one wheel dyno.

Majority of Evo's internals, trans and t-case are built stock to make up to 500whp. Come up with a list of what you want to accomplish and research topics and forums to get to that level. I would drop the hp and boost that you are making to 390-410whp and drop boost to 28lb. You dont want to put that much pressure and blow your motor from the get go.
