I decided to make a post. I had another account with an email I have long stop using. So a new account. Started with an eclipse fwd and then moved to an evo 8 awd. I have long used this sight for research and it is the best EVO site/forum. So keep up the good work.
As the post states I am an evo guy with no evo. I totaled my 2005 evo 8 back in March.
Enjoyed that car for 7 years. She was gone and I walked away without a scratch, no pain and no whiplash. - Minus some really great adrenaline rush.
Go great product!
Well I have been biting to get another one and have decided to get a Evo X. Been looking since May. Went for a test drive the X with a friend. He loved it and left his 2013 STi for a 2012 Evo X.
I still haven't found one to pull the trigger on yet. Will be keeping an eye out for any of the NE guys with evos up for sale.
It is the damage to the sub frame. If you look at the wheels you can see they are not sitting correctly. I don't have a good picture of it, but the front sub frame is bent in the front where it took all the initial impact. Maybe someone will take the time and work on it, but I doubt it. The insurance company totaled it and offered a good payout for a 11 year old car with a salvage title.
