New to Evo IX, Long-time lurker

HI Everyone,

I have been reading and learning from these forums for the better part of a decade and after finally finishing college and getting settled in my career I was able to pick up a very neglected 2006 Evo 9 as a project.

Long story short, my brother bought the car to start the restoration, started a new career and ran out of time for it: Dear God, why???

So that is a quick and dirty version. I will start a restoration thread of sorts in the show & shine section (unless there is a "builds" section I missed).

Cheers,
Josh-

Welcome to the both of you! Always nice to have newcomers join the team! You will learn and grow a ton on this forum. You'll find details on how to wire a wideband gauge, rebuild your rear diff, set your engines mechanical timing, scale your injectors using ecuflash, properly detail your car and EVERYTHING in between.

There is more information on this forum than in the service manual of these cars (granted it's a supplement, not a replacement).

Enjoy!
