Newbie looking for an EVO 8 or 9 GSR in Germany!

Hello everyone!

I'm living near Kaiserslautern Germany and I am looking for a good used LHD EVO 8 or 9 in euro spec or USDM. I will be living here in Germany after I retire from the Army next year so the euro spec is no problem for me!

Looking forward to learn a lot from you guys!

Thank you!

Hello

Thanks for joining us on EvOM. Be great to get you into an EvO. I own the 2006 RS & have it 10 years now

If you have any questions, let us know

Thanks for the greetings! No questions as right now, but it is pretty hard to find a evo over here. I may have to buy from the states! lol

Are you allowed a RHD'r in Germany? Seem like England has many EvO models to choose from

Rhd

Yes they probably do but I don't know if I will have to pay taxes if bought in GB, and the whole RHD thing is simply not for me. Tried my friend's R32 GTR a while ago and could not get use to that.

If I don't find an evo to replace my M3 then I will probably go with my original plan and get a 92-98 E36 M3 and restore/mod it. I really have a soft spot for Japanese cars though.

Yes of course there are LHD evos here. All german spec cars are LHD. The problem is trying to find a decent one in Germany at a good price and avoid paying 21% value added taxes.
