Ok, i dont mean 4g93 (if thats the lancer engine code) I mean the engine funtion name. You know how honda has vtec or vtec-i, toyota has VTTL-i, Nissan has CVTCS. So whats mistu got, a lil question me and some of my car friends came about when talking about mitsu lancer?

 

well... mitsubishi has mivec, but unfortunately it isnt on the lancers, except for the ralliart

Its just ye old Inline 4, 16 valve. No special engine "functions". MIVEC is similar to VTEC. SO, the base Lancer engine is similar to the base Civic engine.
