color code of white shade , Evo IX MR

 

Looks like W37 is what youre looking for ("wicked white" paint code CMW10037, W37)

Please double check before ordering!

 

I thought the only color of the IX MR was the Grey...?

My friend told me W83, isn't it?
I'm not sure and afraid to mix the wrong color for customer.

Not sure where you got W83? Maybe you should consider using a "spectrophotometer" & have it paint matched

 

According to PPG, W83 (Innsbruck white / scotia white) is used between Mitsubishi & Chrysler covering years 1992-2005 and it's PPG brand code 4565. W37 (Innsbruck white / wicked white) is used only for Mitsubishi, years 2005-present and it's PPG brand code 907555.

The brand codes being different tell me the formula is different, so you can look further since there is overlap for the 2005 model year, however the IX being a 2006 model year I would lean towards it being W37 wicked white. Call the dealership with the VIN to find out for sure, and before you send the paint out - mix 50 mL and do a spary out card to compare against the clean vehicle. Being 10+ years old it might be a bit faded, so tinting it accordingly if needed might help out your customer anyways
